My Secret to Achieving Your Goals

It doesn't matter what your goal is. It may be:

- to declutter your home
- to read a book
- to get fit
- to clean your home
- to become more physically flexible
- to complete that course
- to paint your home
- to become a better cook
- to create a garden
- to knit a scarf
- to sew a dress
- to learn how to use your camera

The trick is to turn up everyday and just do a little bit.

It may be for 10 or 20 or 30 mins. It doesn't matter.

The secret is to turn up everyday and to do a little bit towards reaching your goal.

Just think, 10 mins. per day, equals 70 mins. per week and 3,650 mins per year. It is amazing how it all adds up.

Over the past 11 months I have spent about 1 hour each day studying to become a Health Coach. On weekends I may have done 2 hours each day. The thing is, I turned up every day and just did a little bit. All those little bits added up.

At the beginning of my course, I felt like I would never get it finished. Now, I only have 3 1/2 weeks to go of study and 1 exam. I am amazed. To be honest, I didn't really know if I could do it, along with my other commitments. But, I'm nearly there. The end is in sight.

As I'm getting closer to reaching my goal, I've realised something. I've realised that I can apply this 'trick' to any goal I have. I now feel like I can take on anything, and by applying this trick, that I can achieve it.

My next major goal is to declutter, tidy and clean our whole home. My other goal is to launch my health coaching business.

In the past, I wouldn't have thought that either of these goals were possible.......but I now know that anything is possible, using this 'trick', this method.

Is there anything you wish to achieve that you didn't think was possible? Now that I've passed my little secret onto you, I bet you can do it.
